Onavo helps smarthphones and tablets operate more efficiently and in the process reduce the cost of holding those mobile devices. Onavo mobile utility apps compress data on your phone, which reduces the amount of data usage. The less data that you use, the more you will save on your phone bill. Facebook is expected to pay around $150 to $200 million for Onavo according to sources at the Calcalist financial news. Facebook is planning to use Onavo’s technology to make access to the internet more affordable for people.
