Confidences among Older Americans (Over 55 years) in the economy are continuing to sour as evident in the chart above. Older people are unlikely to get hired over a younger person. Typical older people are more concerned about the returns they’re getting on their savings. But with interest rates still stuck near zero levels, no huge returns are being generated. When the cost of living is rising each year, I’ll be sour on the economy too!
