Once a favor holding among big investors, now General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) shares are being dumped at an increasing rate. In the first quarter, Berkshire Hathaway, Greenlight Capital Management, Omega Advisors, and Jana Partners all reduced or nearly cut its entire stake in the automaker. GM’s recall troubles are a major reason why investors are shedding their holdings. Year-to-day, GM is down nearly 18 percent. Moreover, within the automobile sector, GM is the worst performing stock in the sector. However, this pullback could be a great buying opportunity.
